Light Infantry Cap
 This is made by each soldier!  The company has kits for the cap that has almost everything you will need to make your cap.  The kit costs $25.00.
Regimental We have a company seamstress who makes regimentals to our specifications. Talk with Phyllis about details.
Small Clothes
Our company seamstress can make these items.  If you can sew or know someone who does, patterns are available, from the company for the following items for the soldiers "kit".  Talk with Phyllis about the individual patterns.
  • Shirt
  • Overalls or Knee Breeches
  • Waistcoat
  • Half Gaiters
  • Haversack
  • Regimental or Hunting Frock
  • Stock

Please use our patterns since they have been researched and authenticated.  If we do not have the material you need, we will tell you who does.
Items you will need to purchase to complete the uniform section of the kit include:
  • shoes
  • garters (only if you weat knee breeches)
If you can't sew or don't know anyone who does, you may have to purchase other items mentioned above for your kit.  There are suttlers that carry 18th century clothing.  Click here for a list that we have found reputable.

1763 French Charlieville Musket/Bayonet

 The regiment has some that they can offer for sale to our members, cheaper than what is on the market today.  Talk to the Lieutenant or Sergeant about these.

Cartridge Box

The unit has cartridge boxes for about $125.00 each.
Bayonet Frog with Scabbard We have very good frogs and slings at a reasonable price of about $50.00
Canteen These can be purchased or made individually, depending on the type of canteen desired.  Sergeant Milne has made some of the glass bottle canteens, talk with him for details.  The wooden types are usually purchased.
Backpack These are made by the soldiers.  Phyllis has the patterns and sources for the materials needed.
Miscellaneous Equipment Articles such as plate, spoon, fork, etc., for general camp use are readily available from various suttlers.  Other camp gear can be purchased the same way.  A soldiers equipment should be stored in an appropriate box in front of his tent.  These boxes are usually made by the soldier, but can probably be obtained through the company.
