Camp Rules

When The Light Company sets up an 18th century military camp at an event, we are there to educate and entertain the public.  We also want to have a fun and safe weekend.    The following camp rules are meant to accomplish these goals.

  1. Soldiers. you are portraying an 18th century military man.  ACT LIKE ONE!   Campfollowers, the same applies
  2. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them.
  3. Soldiers MUST be in camp and prepared by 9 AM.  If you are eating breakfast in camp, be there by 8 AM.
  4. While "on parade", the camp must be authentic!  NO ANACHRAONISMS PLEASE!
  5. If your tent is open, it must be 18th century.  If it is not 18th century, keep it tied shut.
